Us
How we met
We met on a dating app. We talked about travel. We met in person the next day. We connected right away. The only problem was, Stephanie had just booked a 3-month trip to Europe and Africa and was leaving in 1 month's time. Brent decided, letting this one get away didn't feel right, so a few flights later they met in Europe and explored Greece and Italy together.
It was the first of many trips to come.
the next two years
Once Stephanie landed back on U.S. soil, they spent little time apart. From meeting each other's families, to the holidays, Mardi Gras, the pandemic, adopting a kitten, starting a business, and starting a new job.
Life was busy and different but better together.
the proposal
We were scheduled to go on a "sunset cruise" on the Tennessee River with Stephanie's family that night. We arrived at the wharf a little early and decided to find a place to "take a photo." Stephanie was suspicious once, but dismissed the thought. Brent proposed by the Chattanooga riverfront with the mountains in the background.
He said, "You know how we're always saying 'if' we get married? How about we start saying 'when'?" and she said yes!
